Where can you have a fall wedding with glorious weather?  Charleston!  Stephanie and Joe’s wedding at Magnolia Plantation was so much fun and I just loved the warm tones and fall feeling of the bridesmaids dresses and decorations, including pumpkins that were sprinkled throughout the plantation. Lowcountry flavor was added to her bouquet with handmade, everlasting palmetto roses and cotton balls – it looked amazing!  What a treat it was for me to shoot their engagement photos, Stephanie’s bridal portraits and now their beautiful, unique wedding celebration. Stephanie loves photography and also shoots weddings – so it was even more of an honor that she chose me to capture her very own special day (and everything in between).  She was full of wonderful ideas and had a very clear vision of what she wanted her day to look like.  Here is a link to Stephanie’s website where you can see her lovely work.  Joe is a firefighter/EMT and such a sweetheart. He wanted a Titanium ring, which can not be cut in case he gets stuck in an emergency.  Stephanie says she is not going to allow him to wear his ring while at work.  Whew!  Her words hit hard as I realized that Joe is out there risking his life and saving others on a daily basis.  Thank you, Joe!!  These two make a beautiful pair and the strength in their love for one another is evident.  Here is a little sneak peek with some of my favorites!  Congratulations Stephanie and Joe!

Stephanie and Joe specifically asked if I would get pictures of the bridesmaids carrying Joe and the groomsmen carrying Stephanie . . . I just had to include the sequence that followed.  Too cute!
